"Adler von Krautsand" - Sailing ship
A traditional ship
This ship shows what can be found in a hull: built in 1937 as a motorised research vessel MV "Dana" for the Danish Ministry of Agriculture, two years later extended by nine metres and for a long time in service as an offshore supplier and training ship, it took on its current appearance and function in the Netherlands in 2007. The eventful history can still be felt on board today. Open-ship visitors and sailing guests can still discover handmade original details from the year of the ship's birth, feel the atmosphere of the 1930s below deck.
Since the first visit to SAIL 2010 Bremerhaven is regularly on the sailing list of this three-mast topsail schooner.
