The Bremerhaven Public Library takes an active role in the development of our city and community; providing residents a place to learn, read or just relax with a cup of coffee an read the daily newspaper or a magazine in a comforting atmosphere.
The Bremerhaven Public Library offers the following: Books, e-books, PC-Games, DVDs, CDs, and free access to the Internet. All computers are equipped with Microsoft Office. Computer sessions are limited to a maximum of one hour. The Free WIFI is not limited.
Bremerhaven Public Library also offers many special events like reading programs, concerts and programs for children.

The Bremerhaven Public Library has two locations for your convenience. The Main Library is in Bürgermeister-Smidt-Straße 10 and the Branch is in Leherheide, Hans-Böckler-Straße 39.
