Watching ships, boarding ships, meeting seamen, talking to planks - the "SAiL BREMERHAVEN 2025" is a must for everyone who wants to get very close to shipping and its people.
In addition to the international understanding that is lived and breathed, the focus will be on the "queens of the seas", the windjammers. Whether three or four masters, barque or full ship - there are many possibilities for interested sailors to follow the charm of historical ships. Many small and large ships from different nations will fill the harbors. Keep yourself up to date on this website.

1986. 1990. 1995. 2000. 2005. 2008. 2010. 2015. 2020. "SAiL BREMERHAVEN" has long since become an international institution in a city and region that is traditionally and historically closely linked to sailing shipping.

Between 1840 and 1926, more than 250 large deep-water sailing ships were built at the Rickmers and Joh. C. Tecklenborg shipyards. Large training ships such as the "Krusenstern" (ex. "Padua") or the "Statsraad Lehmkuhl" (ex. "Grand Duke Friedrich August") still sail the world's oceans today. Not to mention the bark "Alexander von Humboldt II", which is the floating ambassador of Bremerhaven in the international community of windjammers and sail training since 2011.
