"SAiL BREMERHAVEN 2020" is a joint effort of many participants in the maritime city of Bremerhaven. Lord Mayor Melf Grantz is the chairman of the organising committee, in which, among others, the Sail Training Association Germany, navy, port representatives, police and fire brigade are represented. Responsible for the overall framework is the Executive Organising Committee (GFOK) headed by Dr. Ralf Meyer (GFOK spokesperson and managing director of Erlebnis Bremerhaven GmbH (EBG)) and Sabine Ollech-Zietelmann (Magistratskanzlei) together with EBG. Head of the organisational office "SAiL BREMERHAVEN 2020" is Katharina Zickler (EBG).
