The Seaside City is opening a new chapter in its history. The Havenwelten Bremerhaven, a maritime tourism center with unique attractions, has been created in the city center on the Weser dike: Climate House Bremerhaven 8° Ost, ATLANTIC Hotel SAIL City with its look-out platform, MEIN Outlet & Shopping Center, Lloyd Marina and Wohnen am Deich. In addition, the successful Deutsches Auswandererhaus® Bremerhaven, the Zoo at the Sea, the German Maritime Museum, the submarine "Wilhelm Bauer" and the Historical Museum Bremerhaven. The construction of the "Havenwelten (Harboir Worlds)" has visibly changed Bremerhaven's center. You can see this for yourself. The seaside city of Bremerhaven was awarded the Travel for All labeling system in April 2019.
It has developed three vacation inspirations with certified businesses for people with disabilities. These vacation inspirations have different thematic focuses that allow you to discover Bremerhaven's diversity according to your own personal preferences.
