Cycling for everyone
Explore Bremerhaven and surroundings by bike
The seaside city of Bremerhaven is located on one of Germany's most popular cycle routes, the Weser Cycle Route, and also on Europe's longest cycle route, the North Sea Coast Cycle Route. However, Bremerhaven offers numerous, well-signposted, circular cycling routes for all cyclists, whether families with small children, the athletic or the inexperienced cyclist. Flat landscapes with lots of water and greenery invite to relaxed or ambitious cycling.
The seaside town has a wide portfolio of rental bikes available. In addition to the selection of children's bikes, touring bikes, cargo bikes and e-bikes, the offer also includes bikes for people with disabilities. A tricycle with a chair seat is suitable, among other things, for people with balance disorders and those with limited mobility. With the Velo Plus, nothing stands in the way of a cyclist riding together with a wheelchair-bound person. And the Fun2Go offers fun for everyone as well as a special outdoor experience for visually impaired, blind, deaf, cognitively impaired and mobility-impaired guests together with another person.
The bikes will be available for rent by appointment from/to our Tourist Information Hafeninsel, H.-H.-Meier-Straße 6, 27568 Bremerhaven, 0049 471 80936 120.

Fun2Go Parallel Tandem
With the three-wheeled duo bike, two people enjoy a lively bike ride. While one person steers, both pedal. Thanks to side-by-side seating positions, both have a good view and can easily converse with each other during the ride. The seats can be adjusted to the individual seat spacing by means of a lever. In addition to an 8-speed gear hub, the Fun2Go also has an electric motor. The passenger seat is equipped with armrests, harness and footrest.
VeloPlus
The VeloPlus allows one rider and one wheelchair user to cycle together. By means of a winch, the wheelchair is pulled over the tiltable driveway plate onto the driveway plate, where it is securely fastened. The wheelchair transport bike has a modern design and ensures a stable ride thanks to luxurious workmanship, 8-speed gears and good driving dynamics. The co-steering front wheels enable a shortened turning circle and stability. The electric motor assists during the ride. The VeloPlus wheelchair wheel is suitable for almost every hand-moving wheelchair up to a width of 74 cm.
Peacock-Tec Trizon
The three-wheeled Trizon with comfortable, large seat promises sporty and safe driving. The frame geometry makes it easy to get on and off and the adjustable seat provides a comfortable sitting position. The handlebar position is individually adjustable and the pedal positioning ensures knee-friendly cycling. The suspension rear swingarm ensures that small bumps on the track go unnoticed. The Trizon is equipped with a 7-speed hub, hydraulic disc brakes and a luggage basket. The electric motor ensures relaxed cycling.
e-Deep Detachable
With this e-tandem, you can explore your surroundings in pairs, one behind the other, with both people pedaling. Equipped with a motor, this comfortable bike has a deep entry of only 46 cm for both riders. For perfect stability, the bike has two bike racks, one in front and one in the back. For safety, there is a fold-out spacer on the luggage rack.
