The maritime city is opening a new chapter in its history. The Harbor Worlds (Havenwelten) Bremerhaven, a maritime tourism centre with unique attractions, has been created in the city on the Weser dyke: Climate Experience Center, ATLANTIC Hotel SAIL City with its look-out platform, My Outlet & Shopping Center, Lloyd Marina and Living on the Dike. In addition, the successful German Emigration House® Bremerhaven, the Zoo at the Sea, the German Maritime Museum, the submarine "Wilhelm Bauer" and the Historical Museum Bremerhaven. The construction of the "Havenwelten" has visibly changed Bremerhaven's centre. You can convince yourself of this. In April 2019, the maritime city of Bremerhaven was awarded a prize in accordance with the Travel for All labelling system.
