Here you will find the Shop Window Fishery Harbor with a variety of offers for entertainment, restaurants, information and overnight accommodations. Upscale restaurants and cozy harbor pubs are located next to each other in the former Packhalle IV.

Docked in the harbor are fishing cutters, the excursion ship „Dorsch" as well as research and museum ships. Such as the HEINCKE from the AWI Alfred-Wegener-Institute for Polar- und Marine Research and also the museum trawler GERA.

All around the Shop Window Fishery Harbor you can still see and feel the historical fish industry. The auction hall X (Length: 547,40 meters) was authentically reconstructed in 1982. Even today fish auctioning takes place here. The dates for the fish auctions are available at the Fischereihafen - Betriebsgesellschaft (FBG) (Fishery Harbor Operating Company).

Additional packing halls and refrigeration houses, a former ice-making factory from 1911 and a sailor's home (1913) complete the ensemble at the fishery harbor. This area is characterized as an industrial area with old time flair, where such companies like Frosta and Deutsche See (German Sea) are located. While strolling along the old packing halls and refrigeration houses you will find small pubs, fish snack stands and restaurants. In addition to the sale and processing of fish, Packhalle V also has a puppet theatre for young and old.
