St. Marien Church

The Carillon of St. Marien

At least twice a day one can experience an exceptional phenomena at the St. Marien Church. At noon and again at 6:00 pm people unexpectedly stop and look around. The reason for this is the carillon of the St. Marien Church. The ringing gem consists of 27 bells, which can play more than 200 melodies. Between the beginning of May and the end of October additionally at 4:00 pm seafaring songs are played and starting the end of November fitting to the advent season Christmas music is played.
