The Bremerhaven Geestemünde Golf Club is only a few minutes away from the city centre.

The 18 challenging holes invite golfers of all levels to a sporty round of golf on the compact city course all year round. The Markfleth is the defining element of the game and runs through the entire course with its side arms and bulges. This brings water into play on almost all courses.

The golf game can be improved on the practice area in individual lessons, in golf courses or in your own training. The driving range offers ten tee boxes and a further ten outdoor courses. On the practice area with bunker, chipping area and putting green, golfers have every opportunity to work on improving their short game. The floodlight system allows daily use of the practice area until 9 p.m., even in the winter months.

For all those who would like to swing the club even without prior knowledge, we regularly offer inexpensive taster courses. We give an overview of the golf course and the practice facilities. You learn something about the game, its rules and the equipment. Our trainer will accompany you during your first attempts.

For golfers and non-golfers our restaurant Schmidt's Hemingway is available. With their gastronomic diversity, the restaurateurs Jens and Rüdiger Schmidt, who are well-known beyond the city limits, offer small dishes or sophisticated menus every day, rounded off by a selection of excellent wines.
