TiF - Fishery Harbor Theater

The theater in the midst of the Shop Window Fishery Harbor awaits you!

Classical concerts and experimental stage plays, magic shows and improvisational theater, dance theater and always surprises outside of any genre comprise the coloorful program mix of TiF.

The Fishery Harbor Theater was inaugurated on May 10, 1996 in the Forum Fischbahnhof, a former, lovingly restored fish shipping hall. The prior to its opening very controversial theatre has since become firmly established in the cultural life of Bremerhaven and is an important component of the Shop Window Fishery Harbor. As early as two years after its opening, the capacity utilization rate was around 90%. Otto Sander, Klaus Lage, Birgit Scherzer or Götz Alsmann are just a few of the many well-known artists who perform at the TiF. On the other hand, many up-and-coming artists based in the region get a chance here to appear under professional conditions.

Classical concerts and experimental plays, dance theatre and underwater puppet theatre, magic performances and improvisational theater, as well as surprises outside of any established genres constitute the colourful programming mix of the TiF. An outstanding technical infrastructure, the rising auditorium with excellent views and last not least the special ambiance of the fishery harbor are additional factors that turn a visit to the Fishery Harbor Theater into a fabulous night out.
