Während ihre großen Filme heute langsam in Vergessenheit geraten, bleibt der Zauber ihrer Lieder ungebrochen. In Peter Lunds Stück „Zarah 47 – Das totale Lied“ erleben wir den 40. Geburtstag der Diva, den sie 1947 völlig vereinsamt auf ihrem Landsitz in Schweden verbringt. Sie reflektiert, belügt sich, vielleicht auch uns, aber vor allem schwelgt sie in der Musik. Die irritierende Diskrepanz zwischen emotionalem Rausch und intellektueller Erkenntnis hinterlässt in den Vorstellungen beim Publikum immer wieder Schauer mit Gänsehaut. Die Berlinerin
ARANEA PEEL ist mit Elektropunk ihrer europaweit erfolgreichen Band „Grausame Töchter“ und Interpretationen klassischer deutschen Chansons selbst eine Ikone der Gegenwart. Sie weiß nur allzu gut, dass alles Manipulation ist. Zusammen mit dem Regisseur und Musiker Hans-Jürgen Osmers am Klavier zelebriert sie hemmungslos die Lieder und gibt uns Einblicke in eine hochinteressante Künstlerseele.
