The venue Pferdestall has a very special and inspiring atmosphere. Central and close to the port, the Pferdestall was built 1905 by the transport company Brauns to host their draught animals. Typical characteristics of the room survived – old troughs and tiles, wrought-iron grids in the decorated arched windows. The artists and the audiance appreciate the good acoustics.

Today the Pferdestall ist the location in Bremerhaven for unexpected and extraordinary  world music and performance, the place for a vibrant culture apart from mainstream – cosmopolitan, colourful and unique. So this is the place for an audience, which is curious and full of passion for discovery.
