Marionette Theater Bremerhaven

The Marionette theater Bremerhaven is an unaffiliated professional figure and doll theater in the vicinity of the Shop Window Fishery Harbor. The theater was founded by Ulrike Andersen in 1996

The repertoire includes plays for adults and children. Guest direction, stage direction consulting for theaters and décor and costumes for other theatres complement the offering. The productions are developed in collaboration with other theatres and freelance artists (directors, musicians, dancers, etc.). The figures for the productions are created in the theater’s own workshop. As a touring theater, the Marionette theatre Bremerhaven is regularly on the road both in Germany and abroad.

In cooperation with Fishery Harbor Theater (TiF) it has already been able to stage the “Bremerhavener Figuren Theatertage”, and summer theater and Shakespeare weeks also took place here. Since 2001, the theatre has regularly produced a Christmas fairy tale for spectators above the age of four during the pre-Christmas period.
