InstaMeet with AboutCities Lower Saxony

"Typisch Bremerhaven - Schiffsglück" is the motto of the InstaMeet on July 9, 2023, organized by aboutcities and Erlebnis Bremerhaven GmbH. The seaside city of Bremerhaven is a member of aboutcities, an association of 18 northern German metropolises, each of which is unique. At this exclusive InstaMeet, participants who do not yet know our beautiful seaside city will be amazed at what there is to discover from unusual perspectives.
Interested parties should apply quickly via aboutcities, as only 12 spots are available.

Photo spot 1:
Let's start with a guided tour on the last German full-rigged ship, the "Schulschiff Deutschland". The ship is located in the heart of Bremerhaven. It can be visited, you can spend the night on it and even get married. The main mast towers 52 meters high above the 86-meter-long white hull. The "Schulschiff Deutschland" was launched in 1927. Today, guests feel transported to the world of old square-rigged sailing ships when they step onto the deck planks. The masts, sails, ropes and original inventory bring the ship's legendary history to life.

Photo spot 2:
Erlebnis Bremerhaven GmbH organizes city marketing, event management and tourism marketing for the maritime city. Located in the middle of Havenwelten with its headquarters, we take the opportunity for a bathroom break and daylight photos over the New Harbor.

Photo spot 3:
The highlight of today awaits us: a sailing trip including appetizers from the Pier6 restaurant! The "Adler von Krautsand" is a flat-bottomed ship, restored down to the last detail and lovingly maintained, built for sailing along the coasts and on the Wadden Sea. From the heart of Bremerhaven, the new harbor, we lock out on the Weser. In front of the unique backdrop of the seaside city, we set sail and experience wind and waves up close. Drinks are provided by the supplier "Wasserwelt Bremerhaven".

Photo spot 4:
After a great trip, we will once again go to the premises of Erlebnis Bremerhaven GmbH and look at the New Harbor in the blue hour to finish together.
