Shopping in der Bremerhaven's City Center

The shopping mile in the city center's pedestrian zone is simply called the "Bürger". Here you will find a very modern and nice shopping street. The "Bürger" is only open to pedestrians and in some areas also for bus traffic. In Bremerhaven's pedestrian zone one can stroll under glass arcades and can find numerous shops and cafés along a distance of almost 1 km independent of the weather.

A direct connection with the Columbus Shopping Center, also called the "Upper Bürger", as well as with the MEIN Outlet & Shopping-Center is possible via the glass bridge Havenbrücke.

Some 250 specialty shops await you along your shopping spree. A sufficient number of parking possibilities are also available in the Parking Garage Mitte, Columbus Center or also in the Parking Garage Havenwelten. You can find all parking possibilities here. When coming from the highway exit "Zentrum" just follow the signs in the direction Havenwelten and the parking facilities.
