The Columbus Center is a landmark of the city of Bremerhaven. The high-rise building complex forms a boundary between the Old Harbor and the city center. The building was completed in 1977 and since then unites shopping and living under one roof. The two-story center with a built-in pedestrian zone allows you to shop, wander and have a chat without worrying about the weather. You can reach the pedestrian zone easily and dry from the parking garage.

In Columbus Center you will find 70 retail stores offering its’ visitors and customers an attractive and extensive assortment of goods. The restaurants located here serve a wide range of delicious specialties, which invite you to relax and linger after a long shopping sprit.

Adjacent to the shopping-mile there are 3 apartment towers, which form the silhouette of the city. The buildings are set up like chimneys of a ship and consist of a total of 555 private apartments. From here one has an unforgettable view over the dyke.
