From Lohmann- all the way to the Weser Dike
Stroll along Bremerhaven's dike promenade - where the Weser just about turns into the North Sea - between the harbors and the river Geeste and enjoy the unique panorama.
At the north end of the dike promenade you can find the Pingelturm, the Emperor's Lock (Kaiserschleuse) and the Freilaufkanal-walkway on the Weser, which is Bremerhaven's „promenade walkway” on the water. A little further south there is the Simon Loschen Lighthouse and the New Lock (Neuen Schleuse) as well as the old outer harbor (Alten Vorhafen) followed by the emigrant statue located on the Willy-Brandt-Platz with the minaret and the crossover to the Seebäderkaje. Here you will also find the Zoo at the Sea. Continuing further south, passing by the ATLANTIC Hotel SAIL City with the lookout platform and the German Maritime Museum with the museum ships all the way to the River Weser Lido, where the radar tower with it's lookout platform and the old outer harbor of the Geeste River are located.
