- Tourist beacon in terms of host sustainability is the 4-star Hotel SAIL City: it is #grünunterwegs with its guests. Sustainable action is part of the philosophy of this hotel, such as the careful handling of food, for which it was awarded the 2022 Bremen-Bremerhaven Tourism Prize as the winner.
- The Jaich Hotel, located directly at the New Harbor, was awarded the Bremen Environmental Prize in 2021. Here, sustainability starts with breakfast, where guests enjoy organic products such as eggs, jams and teas, and much more. In the bistro "Übersee," meat from free-range pigs and cheese from organic farms are convincing.
