Welcome to the School History Collection Bremerhaven
The school history collection Bremerhaven is devoted to putting life into school history in general and especially in Bremerhaven.
The school history collection takes you back to the schooldays as of the 19th century and revives memories and experiences of your own schooldays. Blackboard and slate pencil, as well as ink and feathers are not only part of the exhibition in the school history collection, but can also be tried out during the historical lessons. The collection contains many interesting things from the schooldays of grand- and great grandparents, like a historical classroom, teaching materials from the time after 1900, old report cards, pictures, student's works and notebooks and maps as well as displays from physics and biology lessons. Also included is a library with historical school books, books on the topics of education, history, natural sciences and many other interesting topics.
