Open Air Museum Speckenbüttel
Historic farm houses with Geesthofanlage, Marschenhaus (house in the marsh) and Bockwindmühle (support windmill).
Rural life of past decades is reflected at the folkloristic open air museum in the Healthy Park of Speckenbüttel. The Geesthofanlage consists of the Rauchhaus of 1625, Altenteilerhaus, sheepfold, moor cottage and bakehouse. The Marschenhaus is a copy of the original building from the 17th century with farming implements of the fertile marshlands.
The replica of the old Support Windmill (Bockwindmühle) is also a part of the open air museum Speckenbüttel.
