"Queen Green" - Customs boat

The former East German customs boat "Queen Green" has been on land for many years after it was taken out of service. The new owner had some work done on the boat. Unfortunately, the color buildup was not performed correctly. Since sandblasting is not permitted at the shipyard, the current owner had to laboriously remove the filled layers, the old paint and the resulting rust by hand to the bare metal and completely rebuild it. With the help of many hard-working helpers, this has been achieved - after a series of busy days. The temporary installation of the necessary electrical system and the engine work were delayed as a result. It was not until November 2015 that the owners were able to start the crossing to their hometown. In very "uncomfortable weather" the ship reached the AndibiLan of the signal station in Vegesack, via the Elbe, North Sea and Weser around midnight. The next morning the first snow fell. In 2016, parts of the technology were added and the first test drives were carried out in the area.
