A proud three-masted gaff schooner
"Jonkvrouw" - Flatboat
The "Jonkvrouw" was built in 1963 in Dordrecht at the Jonkerpaans shipyard, but in 2005 it was transferred to Bremen by the Dutch.
Since then, the Netherlands, the North and Baltic Seas, the river Weser, Elbe and Oder with their tributaries and canals have been part of its sailing area. Due to its construction the ship can be used not only in the Wadden Sea, but also in inland waters, because it has a low draught, as well as leeboards and offers the possibility to lay the mast at short notice.
