MV "Princess" - Motor ship

A modern event ship

MV "Princess" is a modern event ship of the Adler-Schiffe Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, which has a total fleet of 25 ships. The "Princess" was completed in 1989 and initially used as the "Stad Zierikzee" on the Oosterschelde. Between 1995 and 2017 it operated under the name "Adler Princess" mainly on the Elbe and Eider rivers, but was also used as a "butter steamer" between Usedom and Poland. In 2017 a fire severely damaged the ship, which was then completely modernised. Today she is in action for regular trips on the Kiel Canal and for maritime events throughout northern Germany. It is also used on the river Weser between Bremerhaven, Bremen and Oldenburg.
