MV "Koi" - Motor ship

Modern event and party ship

MV "Koi" is an event ship of the Adler-Schiffe Betriebsgesellschaft mbH, which has a total fleet of 25 ships. The "Koi" is currently used as a charter ship for events and conferences along the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts. In the summer season, the ship, which was built in 1980 and converted in 2014, is also used as a floating event location with state-of-the-art technology for various party series. In 2006 the ship was involved in a border incident off Swinemünde - at that time still under the name "Dania". This involved a possible confiscation of cigarettes from the on-board shop by Polish customs officers who could not be clearly identified. In the course of the incident, shots were probably fired from a Polish border guard boat in the direction of the "Dania". But nobody was injured. However, the captain was subsequently sentenced to a fine.
