SAiL 2025 offers various parking spaces and toilets especially for visitors with limited mobility. Also look-out platforms and other attractions allow a visit.     ... by car, motorhome or caravan

The motorway A 27 leads you directly to Bremerhaven. The Zentrum exit takes you to the Havenwelten Bremerhaven and the city centre. So that you can enjoy the seaside town of Bremerhaven without worries, there is an inner-city parking facility with over 2,700 parking spaces available. You can comfortably reach the Shop Window Fishery Harbor via the south exit.

For visitors who come to Bremerhaven with a motorhome, special motorhome parking spaces are available: Doppelschleuse (63 parking spaces), Fischkai (47 parking spaces), Reisemobil-Parkplatz havencamp (10 parking spaces) or Camping- und Fereinpark Spadener See (80 parking spaces).

With the caravan you drive the motorway A 27 up to the exit Überseehäfen. Continue in the direction of Spaden, where you will find a place with all comforts at the campsite Camping- und Ferienpark Spadener See. From here you can reach the city centre by Public Transport at a distance of approx. 9 km. Take the Zentrum exit to reach the campsite havencamp Bremerhaven.

Coming from the west you reach Bremerhaven through the river Weser tunnel near Dedesdorf, continue on the A 27 northbound towards Bremerhaven.

With Deutsche Bahn or VBN Verkehrsverbund Bremen Niedersachsen you can reach Bremerhaven via Bremen or coming from Cuxhaven. You have the possibility to get off at the main train station or at the branch offices Bahnhof Lehe or Bahnhof Wulsdorf. From here you can reach the city centre by public transport from BremerhavenBus.

The River Weser Cycle Route, the North Sea Coast Cycle Route , the cycle path From the Devil's Moor to the Wadden Sea or the Seaside City Cycle Route make it easy to reach and explore the city by pedal. The tour and route planner can give you further information about the route. The Cycle station in the Shop Window Fishery Harbor offers you an all-round service.
Bicycle parking spaces in the city centre are located in the Columbus Center multi-storey car park.
You will find bicycle boxes at the Lehe station, the main station and in the Harbor Worlds multi-storey car park.

With the Weser ferry you cross the Weser in shortest time. If you skipper the city with your boat, you will find a berth in the marinas/sports boat harbors, further information under our berth information system.

Cruise passengers dock at the Cruise Terminal Bremerhaven (Columbus Cruise Center Bremerhaven) and can be transported by public transport or taxi service. If you are arriving by car, please also note our special shore leave offer for crusaders.

From Sea-Airport Cuxhaven-Nordholz take the A 27 towards Bremerhaven, exit "Zentrum". Duration: approx. 25 minutes (approx. 31 km). From Bremen Airport you can take the tram line 6 to Bremen main station to travel comfortably by train to Bremerhaven.

Directions to the "Harbor Worlds Bremerhaven" area
Coming from the BAB 27, exit Bremerhaven-Zentrum (AS 7), follow the signs to Havenwelten. Straight ahead on the B 212 (Grimbsbystraße, later Lloydstraße). At the end of Lloydstraße turn left into Columbusstraße (right lane to turn left). Continue straight on Columbusstraße (right straight ahead lane) until you reach the specially equipped stops:
Bus terminal and bus stop A to D.
After max. 10 minutes to get on or off the bus, simply follow the signs to the north coach parking lot via the bus lane and special traffic lights in Columbusstraße (except A, B + D).

Directions to the "Shop Window Fishery Harbor" area

From the BAB 27, exit Bremerhaven-Süd (AS 10), coming on the B6 follow the signs for Fischereihafen until you reach the industrial estate "Bohmsiel" and turn left from the B6 following the signs for Schaufenster Fischereihafen. Follow the signs "Shop Window Fishery Harbor" for approx. 4.5 km until you reach Hoebelstraße, then go up this road and turn left "Fischereihafen-Ost" to the south coach parking lot.
