"Zuiderzee" - Schooner
Two-masters from the Netherlands
The "Zuiderzee" was able to carry 400 tons of cargo on board when it left its first voyage in 1909. Today, there is room for 22 passengers and there is an auxiliary engine for windless days.
In 1992, the schooner was converted to travel with guests, while the outer lines of the "Zuiderzee" were preserved. Under the deck, it was completely renovated and luxuriously furnished.
The water of the only original, still sailing two-masher of the Netherlands was and is the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean, the Baltic Sea and the North Sea.
