A beautiful second mast schooner
"Stortemelk" - Sailing ship
A former North Sea fisherman
The STORTEMELK is named after the turbulent navigable waters between the Frisian Islands, Terschelling and Vlieland. In stormy weather, the sea is called “foaming milk”. The cutter was rebuilt in 1992 into a beautiful and fast schooner. The design and rigging give the STORTEMELK a simple, sporting appearance, while the luxurious interior gives a lot of comfort.
You can be a part of the crew while sailing the STORTEMELK or enjoy the view from the deck saloon. The enthusiastic and qualified crew will take you on a voyage of discovery along the countless islands with cliffs in the Baltic Sea. Adventure and a vivid sailing experience are part of the cruise, while taking a break from the routine of daily life.
