A three-mast schooner
The LOTH LORIEN has a eventful history. Built in 1907 in Norwegian Bergen, it was used for herring fishery. In 1989, Jaap Van der Rest became the owner and refurbished the ship until 1992. After that, he could call a two mast logger with modern rigging and exclusive interior its own. In the winter of 2001/2002 it was time for another refurbishment – this time transforming into a three-mast schooner.
