Memorial Stone Excavation Pit

Two plaques on a memorial stone commemorate the suffering of forced laborers.

From1941 until 1945 on the location where the memorial plaques are now located there was the labor camp „Excavation Pit". The two plaques on the memorial stone excavation pit commemorate the forced laborers in Bremerhaven/Wesermünde, who suffered and agonizingly died between 1940 and 1945. These plaques also signalize an appeal to consequently stand up against racism and neo-Nazi efforts.
